How much does the Entrance Fee cost, and possible hidden cost? That is my problem. I learned to draw at a very young age. I often would skip school to go to the Museum and sketch wildlife in the many display cases. That is when I met Owen Gromme, whom later traveled to Africa and other places with Robert Bateman. Owen would catch me skipping school when I was only about ten. OWEN worked there, often doing the art work behind the Wildlife displays, and helped setting up the new exhibits. In my 20's I met without knowing who he was, met Robert Bateman. He happened to see me sketching some geese in the park he bought and donated to TORONTO, CAN. In mid 20's someone had stolen all my art supplies, my sketch books with all sorts of NOTES on wildlife.. And I had to quit art. I had to Drop out of college, and get a low pay job, to help keep a roof over my head and my young son. NOW at 75 still on a very limited fix income. I am starting over. BUT SHOCKED TO SEE so MANY POD CASTS OF SO CALLED ARTIST TEACHING BY "TRACING " from an enlarged Photo they plant to trace onto their canvas. To do owls. deer, tiger, cheetah, Elephants. Some enlarge from a book, and trace it. Others from other past artist work without knowing the animal or birds anatomy. And they justify this .thinking they know are. I was watching one persons pod cast, and clearly she did not know her art. Shadows where there would NOT be shadows., light where there would not be, because the moon was not out showing, because the sun was going down, shinning through the back side of pine trees high up on the hill. In the 60's is when Abstract art tossed OUT all learning of art basic RULES. Wildlife are was considered NOTHING MORE THAN JUST COPY work, and when I see these POD CAST teaching HOW TO PAINT REAL LIFE ART. ,,,What is happening. ?

I think I have one of his paintings. My dad passed away on the 18th of the August this year. I’m heartbroken beyond measure as you could imagine. I was going through his house and located the painting I always loved to look up at. It’s the elephant painting that made him famous .

Hazel Soan is a great teacher...however, I'm not sure natural bristle watercolor brushes made from animal fur is appropriate for a demonstration for a wildlife foundation. When artists talk about their paint brushes they often forget that an animal has actually died to make that brush.

Relocation uh those poor beautiful animals are being treated like the black slaves 😢 I have so much to do this entire world is a mess and it's getting worse I feel like it's being prepared for my second coming so I can sort all the worlds problems to change it into the world it was always meant to be if only I hadn't been murdered horrifically 66 times maybe there would be no suffering now J C 67th reincarnation since crucifixion 6775 675 2025÷3
